Who can be a member of the Emaar Malls Rewards Programme?
The Emaar Malls Rewards Programme is open to everyone who is an Emirates Skywards member (Blue, Silver, Gold and Platinum). My Family, Skywards Skysurfer accounts, and Business Rewards accounts are not eligible to earn Skywards Miles.

Do I need to be a resident of Dubai or the UAE?
No. The Emaar Malls Rewards Programme is open to everyone, regardless of where you are based in the world. To be eligible to earn Skywards Miles, you must shop in The Dubai Mall and therefore either be a visitor or resident of the UAE.

Earning Skywards Miles

How do I start earning Skywards Miles?
To earn Skywards Miles, download The Dubai Mall app – available on the App Store or Google Play, register to become a member of the Emaar Malls Rewards Programme and link your Emirates Skywards account. Then, visit The Dubai Mall and start shopping.

From which stores can I earn Skywards Miles at The Dubai Mall?
Members can earn Skywards Miles from purchases made at any retail store, food & beverage outlet, leisure & entertainment attractions (Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo, VR Park, Reel Cinemas, Dubai Ice Rink, KidZania and At the Top, Burj Khalifa) and specialty kiosks in The Dubai Mall.

Do I need to spend a minimum amount?
Yes, Emirates Skywards members must spend AED 100 (approx. USD 27) or more per transaction to earn Skywards Miles.

How many Skywards Miles will I earn, and is there a maximum?
This depends on which tier you are in, as per the chart below:

Silver 1 Mile per USD 1 (approx. AED 3.67) Maximum 10,000 Miles/month

How long does it take for Skywards Miles to be credited to my account?
For transactions up to USD 1,000 (approx. AED 3,670), Skywards Miles will be credited to your Emirates Skywards account within 24 hours of submitting a valid receipt. For transactions over this amount, this process may take longer.


Skywards Miles & Emirates Skywards Membership

Where do I sign up to be an Emirates Skywards member?
You can visit www.emirates.com/Skywards or through the Emirates app to join Emirates Skywards. You must be an Emirates Skywards member to register for the Emaar Malls Rewards Programme.

Where can I use my Skywards Miles?
You can spend your Skywards Miles on a wide range of rewards including flights and upgrades, event tickets and more. Please visit www.emirates.com/Skywards for more information.

Can I spend my Skywards Miles in stores at The Dubai Mall?
No, however there are a wide range of travel and leisure rewards you can spend your Skywards Miles on. Please visit www.emirates.com/Skywards for more information.


Transactions

How do I scan my receipts to earn Skywards Miles?
First you need to download The Dubai Mall app, register with Emaar Malls Rewards Programme, and link your Emirates Skywards account. Once you have made a purchase of AED 100 or more at The Dubai Mall, you need to scan your receipts by following the simple steps below:

  • Open The Dubai Mall app
  • Click on Rewards
  • Click on Add Receipt
  • Follow the instructions to scan receipts

Can I earn Skywards Miles on previous purchases made at The Dubai Mall?
Members can earn Skywards Miles on valid receipts scanned within 14 days of the original transaction. After this date, receipts will not be validated.

My receipt was not validated and I did not earn Skywards Miles, why?
There are several reasons why a receipt may not be valid to earn Skywards Miles, and include the below:

  • The receipt image is not clear.
  • The receipt date exceeds the submission period of 14 days from the date of purchase.
  • The receipt is not from a purchase made in The Dubai Mall.
  • The total amount on the receipt is under AED 100.
  • The receipt has already been uploaded and is a duplicate.

Can I scan in credit card or debit card receipts?
No. Members should only scan the original store receipt. Credit card and debit card transaction receipts will not be validated.

Is there is any exclusion?
Yes, the following receipts are not accepted: Etisalat, Du receipts, utility payments, bank receipts, exchange conversion of currency receipts, and travel payments made through the travel agencies.


Other Benefits

What are the other benefits of the Emaar Malls Rewards Programme?
In addition, Emirates Skywards Platinum members are entitled to one-time complimentary access per day for themselves plus one guest at The Lounge, Fashion Avenue, plus Reserved Parking for one car at P2, Fashion Avenue.

How do I use these benefits?
To access The Lounge at Fashion Avenue, Emirates Skywards Platinum members simply need to present their Emirates Skywards membership profile linked to The Dubai Mall app.

To access Reserved Parking, you can register your car plate number when you sign up to the Emaar Malls Rewards Programme on The Dubai Mall app. Once this is completed, your plate details will be automatically recognised by our gates.


Technical Support

My Skywards Miles have not been credited, what should I do?
Please ensure that you have read the Transactions section of this FAQ to ensure that your receipts are eligible for validation.

If your receipts exceed USD 1,000 (approx. AED 3,670), the validation process may take longer than the standard 24 hours.
