Eligibility

Who can be a member of Dubai Mall Rewards Programme?
Dubai Mall Rewards Programme is open to everyone who is an Emirates Skywards member (Blue, Silver, Gold and Platinum). My Family, Skywards Skysurfer accounts, and Business Rewards accounts are not eligible to earn Skywards Miles.

Do I need to be a resident of Dubai or the UAE?
No. Dubai Mall Rewards Programme is open to everyone, regardless of where you are based in the world. To be eligible to earn Skywards Miles, you must shop in Dubai Mall and therefore either be a visitor or resident of the UAE.

Earning Skywards Miles

How do I start earning Skywards Miles?
To earn Skywards Miles, download Dubai Mall app – available on the App Store or Google Play, register to become a member of Dubai Mall Rewards Programme and link your Emirates Skywards account. Then, visit Dubai Mall, start shopping and upload your receipts on the app to earn Skywards Miles.

From which stores can I earn Skywards Miles at Dubai Mall?
Members can earn Skywards Miles from purchases made at any retail store, food & beverage outlet, leisure & entertainment attractions (Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo, Play DxB, Reel Cinemas, Dubai Ice Rink, KidZania, eKart and At the Top, Burj Khalifa) and specialty kiosks in Dubai Mall.

Are there any exclusions to earning Skywards Miles at Dubai Mall?
Yes, exclusions apply. The following are not accepted: manually written receipts, Emaar gift card purchases or any other gift cards purchases, deposit and item reservation receipts, Mediclinic bills, insurance payments, screenshots taken from Dubai Mall app or any other apps, pictures taken from other devices’ screens, photocopied or scanned receipts, online order or online purchase receipts, Etisalat receipts, Du receipts, utility payments, DED receipts, Easy taxi receipts, bank receipts, exchange conversion of currency receipts, and travel payments made through the travel agencies.
Duplicate receipt, reprint or copy of receipt, loyalty points, gift certificate and gift vouchers. Payment method must be clearly visible, the accepted payment methods are cash, credit card, debit card, Apple/Samsung/Google pay.
Items purchased through a credit note, credit memo, through credit transfer for returned goods or through item exchange will not be accepted. Skywards Miles will only be awarded on the remaining value.

Do I need to spend a minimum amount?
Yes, Emirates Skyward members must spend AED 100 (approx. USD 27) or more per transaction to earn Skywards Miles.

Can I upload a receipt that belong to another person?
Receipt name should match with Skywards account name.

How many Skywards Miles will I earn, and is there a maximum?
This depends on which tier you are in, as per the chart below:

How long does it take for Skywards Miles to be credited to my account?
For transactions up to USD 1,000 (approx. AED 3,670), Skywards Miles will be credited to your Emirates Skywards account within 1 week of submitting a valid receipt. For transactions over this amount, this process may take longer.


Skywards Miles & Emirates Skywards Membership

Where do I sign up to be an Emirates Skywards member?
You can visit www.emirates.com/Skywards or through the Emirates app to join Emirates Skywards. You must be an Emirates Skywards member to register for Dubai Mall Rewards Programme.

Where can I use my Skywards Miles?
You can spend your Skywards Miles on a wide range of rewards including flights and upgrades, event tickets and more. Please visit www.emirates.com/Skywards for more information.

Can I spend my Skywards Miles in stores at Dubai Mall?
No, however there are a wide range of travel and leisure rewards you can spend your Skywards Miles on. Please visit www.emirates.com/Skywards for more information.


Transactions

How do I scan my receipts to earn Skywards Miles?
First you need to download Dubai Mall app, register with Dubai Malls Rewards Programme, and link your Emirates Skywards account. Once you have made a purchase of AED 100 or more at Dubai Mall, you need to scan your receipts by following the simple steps below:

  • Open Dubai Mall app
  • Click on Rewards
  • Click on Add Receipt
  • Follow the instructions to scan receipts.

Can I earn Skywards Miles on previous purchases made at Dubai Mall?
Members can earn Skywards Miles on valid receipts scanned within 14 days from the original transaction date of purchase.

My receipt was not validated, and I did not earn Skywards Miles, why?
There are several reasons why a receipt may not be valid to earn Skywards Miles, and include the below:

  • The receipt image is not clear.
  • The receipt date exceeds the submission period of 14 days from the date of purchase.
  • The receipt is not from a purchase made in Dubai Mall.
  • The total amount on the receipt is under AED 100.
  • The receipt has already been uploaded and is a duplicate.
  • The uploaded receipt breaches the terms and conditions of Dubai Mall Rewards Programme
  • The uploaded receipt image has missing details.

Can I scan in credit card or debit card receipts?
No. Members should only scan the original store receipt. Credit card and debit card transaction receipts will not be validated.

How do I use these benefits?

Complimentary Delivery Service: To use the Complimentary Delivery Service, Emirates Skywards Gold and Platinum members can simply visit any Guest Service Desk or inquire in-store to book the delivery service by presenting their Emirates Skywards membership profile linked to Dubai Mall app. The delivery service is limited to Emaar hotels and residential properties within the Downtown areas.

In-Mall Chauffeur Service:
To use the In-Mall Chauffeur Service, Emirates Skywards Gold and Platinum members can simply visit any Guest Service Desk by presenting their Emirates Skywards membership profile linked to Dubai Mall app.

Access to The Lounge at Fashion Avenue:
To access The Lounge at Fashion Avenue, Emirates Skywards Platinum members simply need to present their Emirates Skywards membership profile linked to Dubai Mall app.

VIP Parking:
To access The VIP Parking, Emirates Skywards Platinum members need to register their car plate number when they sign up to Dubai Mall Rewards Programme on Dubai Mall app and send their vehicle number plate details to parking@thedubaimall.com. Once this is completed, your plate details will be automatically recognised by our gates and access will be granted. The VIP Courtesy Parking is located on:

  1. Fashion Avenue Parking Level B.
  2. Grand Parking Level P2 Adjacent to Bloomindale entrance,
  3. Cinema Parking Level P2, Adjacent to China Town entrance.


How do I use the offers?
You will be able to avail the offer eligible to you by following the steps below:

  • Open Dubai Mall app, register and link your Emirates Skywards account to become a member.
  • Select the offer available to you on Dubai Mall app.
  • Click on Claim Voucher
  • Scan the barcode provided by the store to claim the offer or ask the store to enter the 4-digit code in case the barcode didn’t work.
  • After scanning the barcode or inputting the 4-digit code, a unique retailer code will appear on the customer screen on the app.
  • Present the code to the staff member who will note this down as verification to apply the discount or offer to the receipt.

Technical Support

My Skywards Miles have not been credited, what should I do?
Please ensure that you have read the Transactions section of this FAQ to ensure that your receipts are eligible for validation.

If your receipts exceed USD 1,000 (approx. AED 3,670), the validation process may take longer than the standard 1 week.
