Porter Services

The Service is subject to certain terms and conditions:

  1. Porter Service

Porter Service at Dubai Mall entails the provision of assistance for carrying and transporting items within the premises of Dubai Mall.

  1. Guests must request the Porter Service at designated service points within Dubai Mall.
  2. Porters will assist guests in carrying their purchased items within the mall premises
  3. Subject to the availability of staff, the service is available 7 days a week during Dubai Mall's operational hours.
  4. By using this service, you acknowledge and agree that you have read, understood and consent to these terms and conditions and agree to be bound by them
  5. Guests shall provide their full name, email ID and contact number to use the Porter service and by registering, the Guest shall grant their free and informed consent for their Personal Data to be used for the purpose of availing these Services and for marketing and sales purposes by Dubai Mall.

 

  1. Fees

The service is charged: 

  1. The service is charged at a rate of 150 AED per hour including VAT.
  2. An additional hour will be charged at 50 AED including VAT.
  3. For eight hours, there will be a discount of 20%.
  4. The minimum booking duration for the service is one hour.
  5. Guests may extend the service duration beyond the initial booking period by paying the applicable fees.
  6. Payment for the service is required in advance and can be made via credit/debit card only. Guest shall be solely responsible for any cost resulting from currency exchange in case his payment card account differs from payment currency.

 

  1. Responsibility of the Guests
  1. Guests are responsible for ensuring that their items are securely packed and ready for transportation.
  2. Porters will exercise reasonable care in handling items; however, guests are advised to take necessary precautions for fragile or valuable items
  3. Services shall be provided only if the bags do not contain fragile items and the bags are not extraordinary heavy, which shall be decided by our Guest Services team
  4. Guests are encouraged to maintain personal supervision of their belongings at all times.
  5. Guests not allowed to cancel their Porter Service booking. And no Refund for cancellations
  6. Guests are expected to treat the porters with respect and courtesy. Any form of abusive or inappropriate behavior towards the porters will not be tolerated and may result in the termination of the service without refund.

 

  1. Dubai Mall Policies
  1. Dubai Mall shall not accept collection of any items such as heavy furniture, perishable, and fragile items (food items/takeout’s, grocery items, flowers, delicate or breakable objects, prescription medicine, money, jewelry, precious metal, watches, personal belongings, live animals, and any illegal items under UAE laws) and the Guest confirms that no such items are included in the Shopping Bag.
  2. Porter Service is limited to the transportation of items within the mall and does not extend to any external locations.
  3. According to Dubai Mall’s management policies, uncollected bags and items will be handed over to Dubai Mall’s Lost and Found Department and shall be dealt as per the lost and found policy.
  4. Dubai Mall reserves the right to decline the delivery or collection of any Shopping Bags at any time if the bags were not collected on the same day within the Mall Operating hours. In such cases, the Guest shall be responsible for collecting the Shopping Bags as per the timings provided by the mall.

 

  1. Governing Laws

Any disputes shall be governed in accordance with the laws of United Arab Emirates as applicable in the Emirate of Dubai and if not settled amicably, shall be resolved exclusively before Dubai Courts. Emaar Malls (Dubai Mall) general terms and conditions apply.
